Bimer Bonsai Club has a range of Bonsai introduction, training, and development courses. Each course is designed to provide different levels of a structured program for the club members to consider for their development.

Bimer Bonsai Club has Four main programs:
1. Bimer Bonsai Introduction to Bonsai
An introductory, 3 hour session designed to give interested members and non- members a taste of Bonsai. For potential members who have an interest in bonsai to participate in a short introduction to the basics of bonsai. They will create their first tree while being taught how to keep it alive. The participants do not need to be members of the club but are given a plant and pot and shown how to create their first tree.
This session and the materials for the bonsai are FREE to participants.
2. Bimer Bonsai Fundamentals
The Bimer Bonsai Fundamentals course is designed to improve the understanding of bonsai for novices, self- taught hobbyists and experienced members looking for a refresher.
It moves from keeping trees alive to how to develop bonsai from structure to refinement. It is a course that will improve the knowledge and love of bonsai.

3. Bimer Bonsai Skills and Knowledge
A course designed to get members who wish to continue to develop their skills. The course focuses on a broader range of bonsai styles, more advanced techniques and developing hands on skills.

4. Bimer Bonsai Advanced Course
For participants to be challenged by more advanced techniques and develop their skills at the highest level. They will work to create some of the best trees in the club. To develop advanced bonsai artists who can continue to grow the community. These are potential committee, presenters, and workshop coordinators.
