5 x 3 Hour Sessions per Course – $150 per Attendee per Course – Maximum of 8 Participants per Course – 2 Courses per Year
There are two Advanced Courses:
Australian Native Species and
Two separate courses focused on either exotic or native species with the best presenters. For participants to be challenged by more advanced techniques and develop their skills at the highest level. They will work to create some of the best trees in the club. To develop advanced bonsai artists who can continue to grow the community. These are potential committee, presenters, and workshop coordinators.
These courses are for Club members wishing to gain more knowledge and skills to share with other members so that you might contribute to the creation of a group of highly skilled bonsai artists to help other bonsai hobbyists & the bonsai community.
Participants in these advanced courses will be current Bimer Bonsai Club member with at least 3 years’ experience and who have completed the Skills & Knowledge course.
What Does Bimer Provide?
- 5 x 3 hour sessions
- Course notes for each session
- 2 x Orchid pots (you can bring your own ceramic pots to use if you wish)
- 3 x Plants
What do you need to bring?
- Bonsai tools
- We provide orchid pots however you can bring yourown ceramic or other pots
- Mesh for drain holes
- Your own trees for forest
- Your own Rocks
- Your own soil mixture
- Your own wire
You will receive a certificate on completion and will be equipped and encouraged to present to members of the club.
