Calendar Tree August
The Bougie was dug up from a golf course around 2006 that closed down. I had admired the trees when I had played golf there and jumped at the chance to collect it when I heard the course had closed down and would be bulldozed to turn it into housing.
The first picture is the tree in 2007 from the back showing where a trunk had been cut off and then carved. Picture 2 shows the front. The third photo is from 2011 in its first bonsai pot.
