Steve Cullum is the VP of the Redlands Bonsai Society where he leads the education and development programs, including an annually run Bonsai Foundations program. He has recently published a book of the same name. Steve has recently been accredited as an AABC Visiting Tutor and is also a bonsai potter, who will demonstrate at the May Convention.
At the May meeting, he ran a presentation/discussion titled “Are we making our trees like bonsai or our bonsai like trees?”
It was an interactive Powerpoint presentation supported by bonsai trees brought along by the members. So without further explanation he asked that members to bring along their ‘trees that look like bonsai’ and their ‘bonsai that look like trees’.
